At Auto Openers, we stand behind every product we manufacture. Our warranty and returns process is designed to be clear, fair and easy to navigate, giving you complete confidence when purchasing.

 

Total Confidence Warranty

Auto Openers is an Australian-owned company committed to delivering reliable garage door openers, gate openers, remotes and accessories.

Our products are designed and tested to operate with a wide range of garage doors including B&D, Taurean, Steel-Line and Gliderol systems.

Every Auto Openers garage door opener installed by an Accredited Dealer includes a 10 Year Warranty, reinforcing our commitment to safety, security and long-term reliability.

 

Garage Door Opener Warranty

All Auto Openers garage door openers are covered by a back-to-base manufacturer warranty:

 

To maintain warranty coverage, servicing requirements outlined in the owner’s manual must be strictly followed. Regular servicing is a condition of this warranty. The opener must be serviced 12 months after installation, and at least every 2 years thereafter.

Proof of servicing is required and must be provided upon request. Servicing must be carried out by a qualified garage door installer. Self-servicing or unverified servicing will not be accepted and may void warranty coverage.

  • Units must be removed and returned for assessment
  • Return freight is the responsibility of the customer
  • If deemed faulty, reasonable postage costs will be reimbursed
  • Repaired or replacement units are returned at our cost
  • Original packaging is not required, but secure packaging is essential

 

Remote Control Warranty

Auto Openers remote controls include a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Misuse or accidental damage
  • Water exposure or corrosion
  • Impact damage
  • General wear and tear
  • Batteries are a consumable and not covered by warranty

 

Simple Warranty Process

We aim to resolve issues quickly and with minimal disruption.

  • Contact your installer or our support team
  • Provide proof of purchase and details of the issue
  • Assessment will be arranged
  • If approved, the unit will be repaired or replaced

 

Where possible, we prioritise replacement over repair to get your system back up and running faster.

 

Inspection & Refund Timeframes

  • Warranties are inspected upon arrival
  • Processing typically takes up to 5 business days
  • Approved repairs or replacement units are issued within 10 business days of receiving the item

 

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us immediately. To assist with assessment, we may request photos or videos of the issue.

Depending on the situation, resolutions may include:

  • Replacement
  • Refund
